The Island
The polo islet is approximately 30 hectares and is abundant in plant and animal life. It is surrounded by natural white sands and is about a 15-20 minute boat ride from the Buyabod pier. Although at current there is no power supply, the municipal government has already launched electrification projects.

Surroundings
The island is surrounded by magnificent sceneries of mountains and oceans that are untapped, leaving people awe-inspired and in a state of tranquility. The island is also surrounded by lucid and clear waters and by shallow coral reefs stretching up to 150 meters from the beach of the island, making it ideal for swimming.

Plant Life
The island is rich in vegetation. From afar it is already evident that coconut trees towering up to 10-15 meters reside abundantly there. Buli trees of 6 meters in height can also be found. Other fruits present in the island are mangoes, calamansi, bananas, dalandan, langka, star apple and sampaloc. Attractive flowers are scattered throughout the Polo Islet. This confirms the capability of the island to grow and maintain vegetation because it is covered with healthy and rich soil.

Animal Life
The island is also a home for numerous and beautiful marine creatures. These include (from left to right) tuna fish, king crabs, parrot fishes, squids and stone crabs. Caretakers of this island usually bring rice and then fish for their food in the surrounding area. This indicates the island's self-sustaining characteristic because of the stability, richness, and unexploited natural resources.
